George Atiyeh and I have a few things in coommn. We both grew up in Allentown, PA. We actually lived quite close to one another. George on Fullerton Ave. and I on Green St. near St. John's Church. We both played sports and graduated from Dieruff HS. I graduated with his Sister Linda. We both played Division I football in the SEC, George at (LSU) and me at (South Carolina.) Small World. He was a very talented athlete that was very admired. He actually has a post here on his blog that mentions me. I was the oldest player to ever play Major Division I college football.
